Case Study of Waste Gas Treatment at Fujian XX Printing Factory

The printing factory generates waste gas containing organic substances such as ink and solvents during the production process, characterized by intermittent emissions and large air volume. The waste gas treatment process used by the factory is as follows:

Waste gas collection: Organic waste gas generated in the printing workshop is collected into the waste gas treatment system through a negative pressure exhaust system.

Pre-treatment: The waste gas enters a cyclone dust collector to remove particulate matter.

Zeolite wheel adsorption: Utilizing the large specific surface area of the zeolite wheel, low-concentration waste gas is continuously adsorbed. When the wheel rotates to the desorption zone, a small stream of hot air is used for desorption, concentrating VOCs into high-concentration gas.

RTO incineration: The concentrated organic waste gas enters a regenerative thermal oxidizer (RTO) and is fully combusted at high temperatures, converting it into harmless carbon dioxide and water.

Emission monitoring: The treated waste gas is monitored in real-time through an online monitoring system to ensure emissions comply with national standards.

Effectiveness: This treatment project effectively addresses the emission issues of organic waste gas from the printing factory, reducing the impact of waste gas on the surrounding environment and employee health, while also enhancing the company's environmental image and market competitiveness.
