Carbon steel elbows made of carbon steel can be divided into the following types:

90° carbon steel elbow
Divided by angle: 45°, 90°, and 180°. These three commonly used elbows can be specially customized for engineering needs such as 60° or other angles.

According to the process form, it can be divided into: welding elbow, stamping elbow, casting elbow, etc.
Purpose: Connect two pipes to change the direction of the pipe and turn it to 45°, 180°, 90° or other angles.
Manufacturing standards: national standard, American standard, Japanese standard, German standard, Russian standard.

After the interior is filled with pressure medium, internal pressure is applied. Under the action of the internal pressure, the cross section is The polygon gradually turns into a circle, becoming a circular ring shell. According to needs, a circular ring shell can be cut into four 90° elbows or six 60° elbows or elbows of other specifications. This process is suitable for manufacturing any elbow whose pitch diameter to elbow inner diameter ratio is greater than 1.5 times. Specifications for large elbows, an ideal method for manufacturing large carbon steel elbows.
The advantages of this carbon steel elbow manufacturing process are mainly reflected in the following aspects:
(1) There is no need for pipe blanks as raw materials, which can save the cost of pipe making equipment and molds, and carbon steel elbows with any large diameter and relatively thin wall thickness can be obtained.
(2) The blank is a flat plate or a developable curved surface, so the cutting is simple, the accuracy is easy to ensure, and assembly and welding are convenient.
(3) Due to the above two reasons, the manufacturing cycle can be shortened and the production cost is greatly reduced. Since it does not require any equipment, it is especially suitable for on-site processing of large carbon steel elbows.
(4) Carbon steel elbows are suitable for pipeline series in petroleum, natural gas, chemical industry, hydropower, construction and boiler industries.
